Offices in London, Ireland and Dubai
Control4 in Dubai, a powerful app and a system that lasts.
Control4 is the platform we recommend for large Dubai villas and penthouses where the family wants one excellent app, fast programming and a system that grows room by room. We have installed it since the first generation.
Why Control4 suits Dubai villas
Control4 OS 3 puts lighting, blinds, air conditioning, music, television, cameras and the gate into one app and one remote, and it does it quickly. For a Dubai villa of eight to twenty rooms it is often the right balance of capability and cost, and it integrates with thousands of third party products.
We are an authorised Control4 dealer and our engineers are certified on the current platform. We fit Control4 keypads and dimmers, Triad audio, the Halo remote and the T4 touch screens, and we connect the Lutron or KNX lighting where a consultant has specified it underneath.
Control4 systems we install
- Control4 OS 3 with the Control4 app and Halo remotes
- Control4 and Lutron lighting with engraved keypads
- Triad multi room audio and 4K video distribution
- Climate, intercom, cameras and locks in the app
- Upgrades of older Control4 systems to OS 3
- Takeovers of Control4 villas with locked dealer accounts
Control4 takeovers in Dubai
Many Control4 homes in Dubai were installed by dealers who have since closed, leaving the owner unable to change a single button. As an authorised dealer we can take the system over, update it and support it, usually without replacing the hardware.
FAQ
Questions we are often asked
Control4 or Crestron for my villa?
For most Dubai villas up to about twenty rooms Control4 is the better value and the stronger app. Above that, or where the interface must be fully bespoke, we recommend Crestron. We advise after seeing the drawings.
Can Control4 run Lutron lighting?
Yes. Many of our Control4 systems in Dubai sit on top of Lutron lighting, with Control4 providing the app and scenes and Lutron providing the dimming and keypads.
Can you take over my Control4 system?
Yes. Control4 takeovers in Dubai are something we do every month. We transfer the dealer account where the previous dealer cooperates, and rebuild the project where they do not.
Is there a subscription?
Control4 remote access in Dubai uses the 4Sight subscription, which we include in 1Install Care. The system itself works fully inside the house without it.
