Offices in London, Ireland and Dubai
Our smart home design process in Dubai, drawings before cables.
The best residences are designed on paper and installed once. Our process in Dubai has four stages, each with a document you approve, so nothing is ordered, chased or programmed until you and your designer have seen it.
01Consultation
We meet you, your architect or your interior designer, at the villa or over the drawings. We listen to how the family lives, where the staff work, how often you are abroad and which rooms matter most. The consultation in Dubai is charged at our published rate and credited to the project.
02Survey and design
Our engineers survey the site or review the construction drawings and produce the system design: schematics, rack elevations, cable schedules, keypad positions and the containment the electrical contractor needs. This is the document that stops mistakes being built into the walls.
03Interactive proposal
Instead of a spreadsheet you receive an interactive proposal: every room, every system and every keypad laid out with photographs, options and prices in AED, in English or Arabic. You and your designer choose finishes and engraving in it, ask questions in it and approve it online.

04Installation and aftercare
Our own engineers install, programme and commission, with weekly progress reports in your client portal. At handover you receive training, the as built drawings, the programme source and every password. 1Install Care then watches the system from the UAE, the UK and Ireland for as long as you own the house.
FAQ
Questions we are often asked
How early should we involve you?
As early as the architect. Our smart home design process in Dubai works best when the cable routes, plant room and ceiling voids are set with us before the structural drawings are finished.
Do you work with our electrical contractor?
Yes. Our design process in Dubai gives the electrical contractor a containment and first fix package, and our engineers inspect their work before the walls are closed.
Can we change our minds after the proposal?
Yes. The interactive proposal in our Dubai process is revised online, and every revision is kept, so you can see what changed and what it cost.
How long does a project take?
A Dubai villa follows the build programme: design during the structure, first fix with the electrician, second fix after plaster and commissioning in the last weeks. A takeover or refurbishment is usually weeks, not months.
